Find And Manage Duplicate Stock Cards

You can browse duplicate stock cards and mark them as duplicates. You can also deactivate them in:
STOCK - Stock Cards > Find Duplicate Stock Cards.
Searching and Browsing Duplicate Stock Cards
1. Open the function Find Duplicate Stock Cards.
The program automatically retrieves a list of duplicate stock cards in a three-tab view based on common information appearing on multiple stock cards:
- EAN code
- Batch EAN code
- Supplier and product code
The program displays duplicate stock cards for the selected warehouse associated with your username.
If you are an admin, you can choose from the top of the window which warehouse information you want to view.
2. Select the tab at the top of the list view whose information you want to browse.
3. Open a row in the list view by clicking the arrow button in front of the row.
The program displays all the stock cards that contain the common information of the title of that tab, such as the same EAN code.
Tip! You can open a row or all rows at once by right-clicking on the closed row and selecting Open or Open All from the pop-up window. Similarly, you can close a row or all open rows at once.
4. You can also add disabled stock cards to the search results, as well as those stock cards that another user has already marked as duplicates.
Additionally, you can filter the view to include stock cards with the same individual package and batch EAN code. Make selections at the top of the window.
Managing Duplicate Stock Cards
1. Select from the list which stock cards you want to disable or mark as duplicate.
You can select all stock cards belonging to a particular row at once by selecting the top-level row and adding a checkmark in front of the row. Or, you can select individual stock cards from under the top-level row.
2. You can set the selected stock cards as disabled or duplicates for the store associated with your username in the section "Set selected stock card values for".
If you are admin, you can choose from the top of the window which store you want to process. Then select in the section "Set selected stock card values for" > Current store (xxx).
You can also set values for selected stock cards at once for all stores by choosing All stores.
3. Select Disable selected and/or Set selected as duplicate.
The program disables and/or marks the selected rows as duplicates. Deactivated rows turn gray, and for rows marked as duplicates, a checkmark appears in the Duplicate column. Also, with the setting, the General tab of the stock card will have a checkmark in the Duplicate field.
Tip! You can disable stock cards or mark them as duplicates one row at a time by right-clicking on the row in the list and selecting Disable row or Set row as duplicate from the pop-up window.
4. Save your settings by selecting Save or Save and close. You can undo your settings by selecting Cancel."
