Release Notes August 13, 2024 Version 4.50.0

A new 4.50.0 version will be released on JAMIX Kitchen Intelligence System.

In addition, there will be the following releases:

• JAMIX Menu 3.17.0
• JAMIX Mobile 1.24.0
• JAPI 1.32.0

The new releases will be updated for cloud customers by Jamix as follows:

• European servers on Tuesday August 13 after 6 pm (UTC +3)
• Australian servers on Thursday August 15 between 7-12 pm (UTC +10)
• For American servers the time of update will be announced later

Updating the releases will cause an interruption in the services. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Confirmation When Saving a Recipe With a Duplicate Name

The system will provide a notification when saving a recipe with a name that already exists. Despite the notification you will be able to save the recipe with a duplicate name.

Recipes: Hide Ingredient From Print and View Functions

Sometimes rows that are not part of the actual recipe are added to the recipe, e.g. for cost calculations. You can now hide such rows from the Print and View functions with a selection you can find in the editing window of a recipe row.

Translations in Recipe Printout and View Function

You can now print a recipe in different languages and you can change the language for a recipe in the View function.

The information that will be translated:

• Recipe name
• Ingredient names
• Allergens

A new selection "Recipe with translation" has been added in the Additional settings tab of the Print settings. When this is activated, a menu for language selection will appear.

A menu for the language selection has been added in the View function.

Languages used in the system are managed in the Basic Data - Settings - Languages function.

Translations are managed in the Food - Translations function.

STOCK Module

VAT Column Added In the Stock Cards Browsing View

A new VAT column has been added in the Stock Cards browsing view. You can arrange the Stock Cards in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column title.

You can select the columns shown through the hamburger icon on the right top corner.

Purchase Order to Several Email Addresses

You will be able to send an electronic order via email to several recipients by adding the email addresses to the Email field separated with a comma.

Further Info Field for Delivery Row 

The Further Info field of a delivery row can now contain even more text, a maximum of 100 characters.

Filtering Withdrawals with Reference

You can now filter Withdrawals with a Reference. You can utilize this e.g. for filtering withdrawals made in the Menus function as the system adds the name of the menu as the withdrawal reference.
