Release Notes April 8, 2025 Version 4.54.0

A new 4.54.0 version will be released on JAMIX Kitchen Intelligence System.

 

The new release will be updated for cloud customers by Jamix as follows:

• European servers on Tuesday April 8 after 6 pm (UTC +3)
• Australian servers on Thursday April 10 between 7-12 pm (UTC +10)
• For American servers the time of update will be announced later

Updating the releases will cause an interruption in the services. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Adding Translations to Recipe Methods

You can now add translations to the methods of recipes. When adding or editing methods for a recipe, a new translation can be added using the Add button. You can select the language to be added in the window that opens. By default, the program displays the previously added language for the steps and methods, which will be replaced with the newly selected language. The currently selected language is shown in the Language field of the Methods window. You can manage the languages used in the program in the Languages function under basic data.

Previously, it was possible to add translations for recipe names, ingredients, and allergens in the program: Translations in Recipe Printout and View Function.

Improvement to the "Fetch Sales" Function in Menus

The Fetch Sales function in the menu can now be set to use the planned number of portions if no sales data has been saved in the program.

Improvement to Purchase Orders Created via Menus

When creating purchase orders through the menu, you can now combine purchase orders or individual products into a single order. You can also move future purchase orders or items on them to an earlier date.

Portion Size Can Now Be Locked for Servings and Ingredient Rows in the Menu

The Portion Size Locked setting was previously only available for recipe rows in the menu. Now this setting can also be selected for servings and ingredient rows in the menu.

Customer-Specific Production Sheet Always Without Sub-Recipes

The Production Sheet by Customer report is now, by default, printed without sub-recipes. Previously, this had to be selected manually.

STOCK Module

Increased Export Limit for Stock Cards

The maximum number of Stock Cards that can be exported from the system has been increased from 3,000 to 10,000.

Purchase Order Can Be Saved Without Closing It

You can now save a purchase order without closing it. This streamlines the workflow when you need to save changes just before sending the order.

Electronic Purchase Order Can Be Sent from Kitchen's Email Address

Electronic purchase orders are sent by default from the user’s email address. A new setting has been added to the program: "Electronic orders: Use kitchen email instead of user email", allowing orders to be sent from the kitchen’s general email address.

New "Sum" Option in Stock Events Report

In the Stock Events Report, you can now set the column type to Sum, meaning the report will not show individual product rows but only overall summary rows, for example, for waste. This simplifies reporting when product-level details are not needed.
