Release Notes 2026
Starting January 2026, new features and fixes will be released for JAMIX programs also between monthly maintenance breaks. Such releases will not cause any interruptions in the use of the programs.

BASIC DATA
NUTRITIONAL DATA EXPORT LIMIT RAISED
You can now export up to 12,000 nutritional data entries to an Excel spreadsheet. Previously, the export limit was 3,000.

STOCK Module
SORTING PURCHASE ORDERS AND DELIVERIES
You can now sort the product lines on purchase orders and packing lists by any desired column—in either ascending or descending order—by clicking the column header. The sort order selected on the screen is also applied to the printout.

JAPI
The Ingredients endpoint for a single ingredient now shows the stock cards that are linked to the ingredient and the price per weight for each stock card.

WARNING AND STOPPING THRESHOLDS FOR RECIPE LEFTOVER ENTRIES
You can now set warning and stopping thresholds for the recipe leftovers entered in the program. The thresholds can be set for both kilograms and pieces.
- If the leftovers to be recorded exceeds the warning threshold, the program will notify the user, but will still allow the leftover entry to be saved.
- If the leftovers to be recorded exceeds the stopping threshold, the program will notify the user that the leftovers cannot be saved.

BUG RELATED TO PREVENTING DUPLICATE INVENTORY FIXED
If another user is editing the location at the same time as you are taking inventory, the system will prevent duplicate data from being saved.
Due to a recent bug in the system, it has prevented data from being saved to a location even if there is no other user present. This bug has now been fixed.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR DROPDOWN MENUS
The functionality of dropdown menus with assistive technologies has been improved.

FOOD Module
PRINTING RECIPES FROM THE MENU IMPROVED
When printing recipes from the menu, printing larger quantities could sometimes be slow. The printing functionality has been improved so that printing recipes is faster even when printing large quantities at once.

REPORTING CO2 VALUES WITH THE STOCK EVENTS REPORT
Available if the JAMIX CO2 Calculator is in use
You can now report also CO2 values with the Stock Events Report - when the stock card is linked to a nutritional value for which a CO2 value is stored. Reporting CO2 values can be useful, for example, in connection with wastage.

JAPI
A new field called Invoice Type has been added to the customers endpoint of the JAPI interface. It transfers information about the customer's invoicing type (internal/external/salary/no invoicing).

THE CALCULATION OF THE DELIVERY VALUE HAS BEEN CHANGED
On the delivery, the system has so far calculated:
- the value of delivery with three decimal places, but displayed it to the user rounded to two decimal places
- the row price with two decimal places.
Due to the two different calculation methods, the value of delivery has not always been exactly the sum of the row prices of the delivery. This has now been corrected and in the future the system will calculate the value of delivery by adding up the row prices of the delivery with two decimal places.

STOCK CARD PRICE WITH SIX DECIMALS IN STOCK EVENTS
In the program-specific settings, you can choose to display stock card prices with six decimals in stock events.

STOCK TAKE IS NOW CREATED IN THE BACKGROUND
Creating a new stock take can sometimes take time, especially if there are a lot of stock cards. With an improvement made to the program, stock take is now created in the background. This allows you to use other program functions normally while the system is creating the stock take.

LIMITING USER ACCESS TO JAPI
A new setting has been added to the User Profile for limiting the user's access to JAPI only.

INVENTORY TAKE PERFORMANCE IMPROVED
Inventory take might have been slow especially when the number of items is large. The performance has now been improved to ensure a smoother inventory take.

INVENTORY TAKE CAN BE CREATED WITHOUT THEORETICAL VALUES
A setting has been added to the inventory day dialog box to set the theoretical value to zero. This setting is useful if current inventory balances are not needed in the inventory take, as it speeds up inventory take creation in the system.

CORRECTIONS RELATED TO THE FINNISH VAT RATE CHANGE AT THE TURN OF THE YEAR
- The sales price calculation in the menu line now correctly takes into account the VAT rate of 13.5, which changed at the turn of the year.
- The program now identifies imported food products based on a VAT rate of 13.5% when updating product information.
