Processing Production Requisitions - Production Kitchen
Production Requisitions for recipes, made by the customers or by the sites, will be automatically saved to the Production Sheets and the Production Requisitions functions of the Production Kitchen. Requisitions can be browsed and processed in these functions (see manual for Creating Production Requisitions – Sites Making Orders).
Before the customer can make requisitions to the production kitchen, the administrator of the system will have to make the program settings needed, for example define production kitchens for recipes that will be requested from them (See manual for Production Requisitions - Settings).
Browsing And Processing Customer Requisitions For Recipes On The Production Sheet
Customer requisitions for recipes with production kitchen defined will be automatically saved to the production kitchen’s production sheet on the dates when the recipes in question are on the menu. The production kitchen will prepare the requested recipes for the customers or the sites.
In addition to recipes requested through the menu, you can add recipes to the production sheet manually, as well.
The following actions can be performed on the Production Sheet:

Browse, edit and delete recipes

Browse recipe information with the View functionality

Print recipes on paper

Create shopping list on recipes of the date in question

Create purchase orders based on recipes with the Create Orders functionality

Check if there are Preparations, related to upcoming Production Sheets, for the date in question – for example defrosting beef – and printing them on paper (see manual for Preparations)

Registering food that has been prepared in advance as stored with the Food Bank functionality and withdrawing it for use later. The program will take stored food into consideration on the production sheets. (See manual for Food Bank)
Editing Recipe Rows On the Production Sheet
Select the date on which you want to browse and edit the recipes. The recipes for the selected date will be displayed on the list.
A production requisition will automatically create several rows for a recipe.
- The upper sum row includes the total quantity of the food to be prepared, and each production requisition or manually added recipe will be displayed as a separate recipe row under the sum row.
- The customer who has made the production requisition is displayed in the Customer column.
- The menu from which the requisition is made is displayed in the Menu column.
Open the recipe row by double-clicking on it.
You can modify the portion size and the amount of portions, and change the pan.
Accept the changes by choosing close or move on to the next row by choosing previous/next on the bottom of the popup window. The sum row will be automatically updated according to the modified information.
NOTE! You can make modifications only to the information on the recipe rows. The information cannot be modified on the uppermost sum row.
Adding Recipes Manually To The Production Sheet
You can add recipes into the production sheet from the recipe list on the right side of the window. You can search recipes by name and filter them by main and sub groups.
Add the recipe into the production sheet by double-clicking on it.
Open the recipe row on the production sheet and enter the portion size and the amount of portions, and choose the pan.
NOTE! You can make modifications only to the information on the recipe rows. The information cannot be modified on the uppermost sum row.
Deleting A Row from the Production Sheet
Select the row to be deleted with the right mouse button and choose Delete from the drop-down menu.
- If you select a recipe row, the system will delete only the row in question.
- If you select the sum row for the recipes, the system will delete all rows included into the sum row in question.
Browsing Recipes With The View Function
You can browse information on recipes to be prepared with the View function, which will display all the relevant information needed for production. The system will automatically calculate the total amount of portions from all recipe rows, as well as the average portion size.
Open the recipe into the View function by selecting the sum row for the recipe on the production sheet and then choosing View on the top of the window.
- With the Unit of Measurement button you can browse the amounts of ingredients with different units of measurement.
- The Products button will display the purchasing names for ingredients, in case the ingredient is linked to a stock card.
- The Steps button will display the instructions step by step, in case they have been saved on the recipe.
- Nutritive values for the recipe will be displayed when you click on the arrow button next to the Nutritive values / 100 g headline.
- You can move on to the next recipe by choosing Next.
- You can close the View window by choosing Close.
Printing
You can print information on recipes on paper, to an Excel sheet or you can print a shopping list on the recipes.
Printing Recipes

Select the Print Orientation on the General tab.

Select the information you wish to have on the printout from the left side options on the Additional Settings tab.

Select the font size from the settings on the right.

You can remove columns from the printout by choosing Hide when the column is selected on the list. You can bring the column back by choosing Show when the column is selected on the list.

You can also change the order of the columns on the printout with Up and Down buttons under the Columns list. First select the column you wish to move and then click on the Up or Down button until the column is on the right place.

Once the settings have been selected, click on the Print button.
The recipe to be printed will be displayed in a new tab in your browser for print preview. In case some other application has been set as default for opening PDF files, the print preview will be displayed in that application.
Note that popup windows from the system's web address need to be allowed in the browser you are using, for the system to be able to open the print preview tab.
Print the recipe on paper by choosing the Print function on your browser’s settings or the Print function in the default application. Choose the printer and modify the settings if needed.
Printing into Excel Sheet
Choose Print – Excel. The system will print the recipe information of the selected date for all recipes on the production sheet.
Printing a Shopping List
Choose Print – Shopping List.
Select how the information will be grouped on the printout, and then choose Print Shopping List.
Creating Purchase Orders Based On The Recipes On The Production Sheet

Choose Create Orders on the top of the window.

Select the store or kitchen, for which you are creating the orders.

Select the time period for which you are creating the orders.

Select the delivery date in the Date of Orders field.

If you want to round-up the order quantities to complete sales units, select Round-up Order Quantities. NOTE! This selection should be used only when you know that the same items will not be added to the orders before sending them to the suppliers. Otherwise the rounding up should be done in the Stock - Orders function.

Create the orders by clicking the Create Orders button. (See manual for Electronic Purchase Orders)
Saving The Production Sheet
Save the production sheet by choosing Save on the top of the window.
Deleting A Production Sheet
You can delete the entire Production Sheet by choosing Delete on the top of the window.
Browsing Production Requisitions And Editing Portions In The Production Requisitions Function
- Choose FOOD – Production Requisitions
- Select the time period on which you want to browse the requisitions.
- You can search recipes by name and filter requisitions by production kitchen, by order number and by menu.
- All columns on the list can be displayed through the icon with three lines on the upper right corner.
- You can edit the portions and delete recipes within the possible time frames set for the production kitchen
- You can change the portions in a recipe row: Double click the row, enter the new value, and save.
- You can delete a recipe from the list: Check the box in front of the recipe name, and choose Delete.
- You can print the list on recipes requested into an Excel sheet by choosing Excel on the top of the window.
