Stock Cards

Product information on items that are ordered from the suppliers is saved in Stock Cards. You can import suppliers' product information including prices into the system's stock cards with EDI or with an Excel sheet. See instructions for Product Data Update. You can create Stock Cards manually one-by-one, as well.

In addition to the suppliers' product information you can have different types of groupings in the stock cards for making it easier to search of filter them in other functions of the system.

Adding A New Stock Card

Several Locations For A Stock Card

You can add several locations for an item with the + Add location button in the Groups tab of the Stock Card. The location selected on the top row will be considered as the default location for the item. You can utilize the locations registered in the stock card when taking inventory.

 

Nutritive Values

You can link a nutritive value to a stock card and the system will utilize it automatically in the nutritional calculations of the recipes.

 

Inventory Balance

The inventory balance is updated to the stock card along with changes saved in the stock functions of the system (for example inventory take, deliveries, withdrawals, inventory transfer).

 

Item Specific Par Level

You can set item specific par level for inventory balance in order to get automatic notification in the Par Levels and the Orders functions when the balance goes under the par level. This helps in noticing low balance early enough to order the item before you run out of stock.

 

Activating The Time Feature Enables Taking Inventory Several Times A Day

The date for Balance on the Stock Card can be displayed together with time, if needed. This feature can be activated in the BASIC DATA - Program settings function. When the time feature is activated, the time is to be registered along with the date in all functions that influence an item’s balance (inventory take, deliveries, withdrawals, wastage). This enables taking inventory several times a day, if needed, or if you want to monitor balances in real time.
