Adding A Recipe
1. Choose FOOD - Recipes from the menu bar on the left. Choose Add from the top of the view.
2. Enter a name for the recipe and the amount of portions.
3. Then add the ingredients on the recipe.
You can utilize the Search ingredients function. Type the name or part of the name for the ingredient you are searching for. Then press the Enter or the Tab button on you keyboard. The system brings all the ingredients containing the name on the list. You can filter the information on the list using Main group and Subgroup groupings.
Add an ingredient on the recipe by double clicking on it. You can also add the ingredient by dragging it on to the recipe.
4. Once you have added all the ingredients on the recipe, then enter the weight information. Open the ingredient row by double clicking on the Raw weight column, then enter the value. You can move on to the next field with the Tab button on your keyboard or by clicking on the field with your mouse. The Arrow down button on your keyboard takes you to the next ingredient.
You can enter the amount of the ingredient also by ratio, in case the ratio information has been added to the ingredient’s basic data. Once you have entered all the weight information, close the window with the Close button.
5. Add instructions on your recipe. Open the Instructions tab on the right, then choose Add. Add Steps to the instruction by clicking on the Add new heading button. Give a name to the step. You can leave the heading field empty, as well. Then write the instructions related to the step. You can add several steps to the instruction. Once you have entered the instructions, close the instructions window by choosing Accept.
6. You can add images on the recipe through the Images tab on the right. Choose Add image and choose the file from your desktop. You can add steps to the images following the steps you have added to the instructions.
7. You can add additional information on the recipe in the General info tab on the right – Including Additional name, Main group and Subgroup, Target group and Diet. Groupings and Diets are managed in the Basic data menu. Groupings can be utilized when searching for recipes.
8. Save the recipe by choosing Save on the top of the view.
