Registering and Reporting of Organic Products

You can add information on organic items to Stock Cards with a Sort Group and use it as a filter in Stock Events Reports.

 

Adding Organic as a Sort Group

Sort Groups are managed in BASIC DATA - Groups - Sort Groups.

  • Add new Sort Group and name it as Organic. Save the Sort Group.
  • Open the Sort Group by double-clicking on the row, or with the Open button. 
  • Add a Field and name it Organic.
    • If you want to have more detailed information in the system, you can add sub-groups for the Sort Group, such as Organic Dairy, Organic Cereal etc. Add Fields for each sub-group you want to include in the Sort Group.

Adding Organic as a Sort Group to Stock Card

Once you have added the Sort Group in the Basic Data you can add information on organic items to Stock Cards. Stock Cards are managed in STOCK - Stock Cards.

  • Open a Stock Card and go to the Sort Groups tab. You will see a list of all the Sort Groups in the Basic Data.
  • Open the Organic row by clicking on the arrow icon in front of it. The list of sub-groups included in this sort group will open up.
  • Select the appropriate sub-group for the product by ticking the box related to it.
  • Save the Stock Card

Utilizing Information on Organic Items in the Stock Events Report

You can monitor for example the degree of usage of organic items with the Stock Events Report. You can create a report once you have added organic as a sort group to Stock Cards, and you have registered deliveries to the Store. The report is based on registered deliveries. When the background information is in place, you can create a report template.

Adding a Report Template

  • Add new report template in STOCK - Stock Events Report - Add
  • Give a name to the report
  • Set the following filters:
    • Stores
    • Suppliers
    • Cost Center
    • Groups
    • Sort Groups: 
      • Select Organic
      • If you have several sub-groups for organic you can select only one of them, or all of them depending on your need
    • Type: Select Delivery
  • Save the report template

Creating a Report

  • Open a report template in the Stock Events Report window
  • Select the time period
  • Modify filters, if needed
    • You can save the changes to the report template with the Save button
  • Open the report through the Preview button. You can print it into an Excel sheet, if needed.
