Taking Inventory Balance Into Consideration When Making Orders

Related to products added into the order there is an i icon in the end of the product row. By clicking on the i icon a window will open up including additional information on the product’s inventory balance and on the stock events effecting the balance.

In the additional info window the system will display the product’s inventory balance together with the following information:

• Orders that have been ordered but which have not yet been delivered and registered as delivery into the system, meaning that they are not included in the inventory balance
• Internal orders that have been ordered but which have not yet been delivered and registered into the system, meaning that they are not included in the inventory balance
• Par level which is defined on the stock card and is shown here as a balance reducing element, enables you to take the par level into consideration when calculating the balance

You can easily select one or more of the previously mentioned stock events into the balance calculation. Depending on your selection the system will reduce or increase the balance accordingly. The function helps you to predict the balance and enables you to avoid ordering too much of that item. The calculation is shown only in this window and it will not be saved into the stock card.
